
Orthopaedics provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing pain or limitation of motion in the bones, joints, muscles or surrounding structures including non-surgical and surgical options to treat the following conditions:
- Osteoporosis
- Osteoarthritis
- Back, Neck and Spine
- Foot and Ankle
- Hand, Wrist and Elbow, and Shoulder
- Sports Medicine
- Fractures
Common activities that will be performed include:
- Clinical examinations
- Prescription of medication treatments
Physical Medicine and Rehab:
- Physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) aims to enhance and restore functional ability and quality of life to those with physical impairments or disabilities. This service will complement the Orthopaedics program.
- Rehabilitation services including Physical Therapy (PT) will provide follow-up treatments for patients seen within the Clinic
Common procedures that will be performed include:
- Joint arthroscopy
- Joint injections
- Minimally invasive surgery
- Bone fracture repair
- General repairs on damaged muscles or tendons
- Corrective surgery
